2024 Total Solar Eclipse in Toronto

April 8, 2024 - Total Solar Eclipse darkens skies across North America. Eclipses can be seen throughout parts of Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

During the transit, Mercury passes between Sun and Earth. The planet becomes visible from Earth as a small dot against the Sun's disk.

Supermoon Total Eclipse of Equinox Sun on March 20

2015 March 20 is the Chinese Lunar New Year's "Equinox" (春分), while the West is the First Day of Spring. On this particular day, some residents in the northern hemisphere is expected to see the Super Moon and Solar Eclipse (日全食) occurs at the same time. But most Canadians can see the Full Moon, but can not see a Total Solar Eclipse, only Europe, North Africa and Asia, in some places people can see it.

Transit of Venus on June 5, 2012 金星凌日

The June 5, 2012 transit of Venus will be the last chance to view this phenomenon for over 100 years. The last transit was in June 2004, and after this year's transit the next ones won't incur until December 2117 and December 2125.



During the transit, Venus passes between Sun and Earth. The planet becomes visible from Earth as a small dot against the Sun's disk.
